Caitlyn L. Kerr is dedicated to guiding her clients through challenging legal matters, offering solution-oriented advice with compassion and understanding. She believes communication and strong advocacy are the foundation of successful representation. Caitlyn began practicing law in 2014 and has practiced exclusively in family law since 2015. Caitlyn assists her clients with a variety of family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable division of assets and liabilities, paternity and legitimation, modifications, family violence matters, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and contempt issues.
Caitlyn takes the time to listen and understand her clients’ goals, recognizing that effective solutions need to reflect each client’s unique circumstances, concerns, and objectives. Caitlyn prioritizes keeping clients informed and empowered throughout the legal process so that her clients can make confident decisions about their future. Caitlyn takes a creative, problem-solving approach, working closely with her clients to explore tailored solutions that address both their immediate legal needs as well as their long-term goals. Caitlyn is a strong advocate and is committed to helping her clients obtain the best legal outcomes possible.
Caitlyn is active in legal issues regarding family violence, stalking, and dating violence, and she has provided volunteer service with the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and Georgia Legal Aid in assisting clients who need protective orders. Caitlyn has been a guest speaker at women’s networking seminars and has authored multiple articles on divorce and custody issues. Caitlyn is a member of the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association, Cobb County Bar Association, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, and Young Lawyers Division of the Georgia Bar Association. Caitlyn has also been named by the Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” in Family Law.
Caitlyn lives intown with her husband and their beloved pets. In her free time, Caitlyn enjoys baking, walking on the beltline with her husband, spoiling her animals, and spending time with friends.
